A little about me…
Graduating from the Rocky Mountain Academy of Therapeutic Massage with Distinction in March 1996, my work since then has included a year working in a very active Chiropractic Clinic in downtown Calgary, 2 years with the Canadian National Biathlon team in Canmore, a 10-day intensive with the NBA Vancouver Grizzlies at their fall training camp, as a contributing massage therapist at the 1997 World Police Fire Games in Calgary, and operating my own clinic in a busy fitness centre in SW Calgary.
A promise to myself in 1988 was part of the reason I undertook the journey from Calgary to Nova Scotia in 2003, eventually settling on a small farm in Newcombville, then selling the farm in 2018 and moving into the town of Bridgewater.
During my journey as a massage therapist, I have continually upgraded my skills with courses in sports massage, geriatric massage, deep tissue massage, cupping massage, muscle energy techniques, Myofascial Release, Hot/Cold Stone Massage, Reflexology, Physio-Emotional Release Techniques, Quantum Touch, and Usui Reiki Ryoho, among others.
Usui Reiki Ryoho so interested me that I continued my training to receive Master Teacher certification in October 2001, and have been teaching ever since. In 2018 I created Mosaic Reiki Ryoho to teach of my experiences with Usui Reiki Ryoho, Massage Therapy, Quantum Touch, Matrix Energetics, and Physio emotional Release techniques.
I also created the Mosaic Healing Arts Institute with my wife, Mary Dixon to support and expand the knowledge and experiences of various energetic methods of altering an undesired state into the desired state.
The intuitive blending of these various healing techniques during treatment allows me to offer a unique perspective of the healing journey to my clients.
I enjoy time with my wife and business partner Mary, our dog and cats, gardening, friends, and living as sustainably as possible.
