In Level One (First Teachings or First Stage), a personal foundation is created for evolving into an energetic practitioner by becoming proficient at nurturing yourself.
Learn what Reiki is, the history of Usui Reiki Ryoho, and the opportunity to integrate the practice of Mosaic Reiki Ryoho into your everyday life.
- You will receive attunements to Level One.
- You will be taught techniques of grounding, centering, and clearing oneself to aid in maintaining a state of mental clarity, physical ease, and harmonized energy.
- Hand positions for self-treatment and treatment of others are studied in detail.
Focus and time are placed on the practice of self-empowerment, self-healing, self-treatment, and treatment of others.

Attendance Requirements
1. All classes must be attended to receive your certificate of attendance. If for some reason you cannot attend some classes, these can be made up at a later offering of the training course, at which time your certificate will be presented to you.
Demonstrated Abilities
The following are specific to Level One training:
It is expected that all students will:
1. Be capable of demonstrating and delivering:
(1) a self-healing treatment with hand positions as demonstrated and taught and
(2) a full body treatment on another with hand positions as demonstrated and taught, without referring to the manual.
2. Have memorized and be able to recite the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gokai (5 Principles).
3. Be able to name the 3 major persons credited with developing, fostering and presenting Reiki Ryoho to the world.
4. Be able to name and be in awareness of the 3 Ki’s as demonstrated and taught.
5. Know and demonstrate the invocations used pre and post-treatment. (or create and use your own invocations that you feel comfortable with).
6. Demonstrate and be comfortable with Byosen Reikan Ho
